When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type into it. Depending on the form, that can be your name, email address, phone number, store URL, monthly ad spend or revenue range, business name, Instagram handle, and the message you write. The forms are the contact form on the homepage, the strategy call form, the Growth Audit request form, and the Kliks Patisserie audit form.
If you sign up for the Ad Junkies newsletter, we collect your first name and email address.
Like most websites, our hosting, analytics and ad tools also pick up some technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and the pages you view. The Cookies section below covers that.
We use your form details to respond to your enquiry, to prepare your audit if you asked for one, and to figure out whether we can genuinely help your business.
We use your email address and first name, if you signed up for Ad Junkies, to send the newsletter. We won't use it to pitch you services unless you've asked us to.
We will never sell or rent your data. We only share it with the services named in the next section, which we use to run this site, deliver your messages and measure our ads.
These are the services that receive data from this site, and what they get.
Web3Forms delivers your form submissions to us by email. It receives everything you type into our forms.
Supabase is the database where we keep Growth Audit requests (your first name, email, store URL, revenue range and message) so we can review them.
Klaviyo sends the Ad Junkies newsletter and receives your first name and email address when you sign up. When you use our strategy call form, Klaviyo also receives the details you entered (name, email, phone number if you gave one, store URL, ad spend and message) and adds you to our email list.
Calendly handles bookings if you use the Free Strategy Call button on this page. It collects the details needed to schedule the call. Their privacy policy is at calendly.com/privacy.
Vercel hosts this website, so it handles the technical details of each visit, such as your IP address.
To prepare an audit, we run checks on your store address using Google PageSpeed, DataForSEO (search and traffic data) and Anthropic (an AI service that helps write the commentary). They receive your store address and public information about your store. They don't receive your name or email address.
Meta also receives data straight from our server when you submit a form or join the newsletter: a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address and, depending on the form, your name and phone number, plus your IP address and browser details. We send it through Meta's Conversions API to measure our ads.
Fonts and images on this site load from Google Fonts, Fontshare, Cloudinary and Shopify's CDN. Those providers can see your IP address when your browser fetches them.
Google, Meta and Microsoft also receive data through the tools described in the Cookies section below. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, Google Ads to measure which of our Google ads lead to an enquiry, and Meta Pixel to measure how well our Meta ads are performing. The Growth Audit pages also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use the page, such as clicks and scrolling, and can include session recordings. The Ad Junkies page loads Klaviyo's script, which may set its own cookies. All of these set cookies and use similar tracking technology in your browser.
These tools help us see which pages get visited and whether our ads are actually reaching people who go on to become customers. When you submit an audit or call-booking form, Google and Meta are told that it happened, so we can see which ads led there. Meta and Google may also use details you enter in our forms, such as your email address, to match a submission to an ad, and Google Ads may use these tags to show our ads to people who have visited this site.
You can opt out through your browser's cookie or privacy settings, through Google's own tools at adssettings.google.com, or through Meta's own tools at facebook.com/privacy/explanation.
You can request that we delete any data we hold about you at any time. Just email us at hello@kliks.com.au and we'll sort it out promptly.
If you signed up for Ad Junkies, there's an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.
If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to access, correct, and port your data under GDPR. Same email address to request any of those.
